Works on perception, encounter, connectedness and transformation develop from inner landscapes.

In reduced forms and imagery, that which connects people with themselves, with each other and with life emerges.

Sculpture, painting and photography are different forms of expression of this attitude.

Sculpture

Two slender bronze figures with an archaic design on integrated bases, with a black patina.

Forms are like gates.

Behind that lies something that everyone knows – regardless of origin, culture or worldview.

My sculptures are archaic.
They revolve around fundamental human experiences.

You open up space for your own perception.

I call that  Spaces of Resonance.

The sculptures are mainly cast in bronze.

Enlargements and project-related implementations for architecture, businesses and public spaces are available upon request.

Painting

Sandböck bronze figure of a seated woman

In the beginning is an impulse.

The works are created directly on the canvas.
There is no fixed plan.

In the process they develop their own form and become what they are.

Paint is applied, changes, and is reworked.
Layers form and dissolve again.

Some jobs take days to complete.

You open a silent dialogue with the viewer
and make space for that which cannot be immediately put into words.

Photography

White architectural walls under a deep blue sky with an olive tree extending over the edge of the wall.

Photography as a tranquil gaze.
Moments of mindfulness.
Pause.
Light, water and structure are at the heart of it.
The camera is a tool.
She shows what touches.
A deep and immediate sense of the present moment.
