The work arose from the question: What makes a relationship truly precious?

The two figures belong together.
And yet they are free.

Each stands grounded on its own foundation.

They turn towards each other.

Easy.

Still.

Connected on a level where words are no longer necessary.

Possession does not unite.

Not dependency.

But trust and unconditionality.
